The Tuskegee Tigers take their undefeated record on the road as they travel to Jackson, MS to take on the 1 and 1 Jackson State Tigers. Who will win the battle of the Tigers? Everyone will be a winner, when they register to vote and vote.

Jackson State shuts out Tuskegee with a 30 -0 victory. The Jackson State Tigers were lead by freshman quarterback Jared Lockhart. Lockhart accounted for three touchdowns. Two were rushing and one was a pass play to Jameel Gardner Jr.

DOJ sues Mississippi Senate for discrimination against it first hired African American female staff lawyer. Her salary was half of her white coworkers performing the same tasks. The pay gap widened as she did not get pay raises like her white coworkers. She left her job in 2019 when a white lawyer was hired with less experience, but was given a much higher salary. The leadership of the Mississippi Senate did nothing about the discrimination after her complaint. Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves was the leader of the Senate during this time period.  DOJ will only seek pay and other compensation for the African American employee. There will be no criminal action brought against anyone in Mississippi that aided the violation of federal law.
