The deployment of National Guard troops in Washington, DC have done little to lower crime rates. The DC police department continues to protect the city. The National Guard troops are just there and wasting about $2 million per day for this Donald Trump vanity experiment. With a national debt over $40 trillion maybe Trump and republicans would look to save money. Wrong, they are more concerned with wasteful optics than the $40 trillion in debt they have ran up for America. MAGA voters get your republican officials to care about really governing America.
MAGA voters increase national debt
The United States National Debt has surpassed $40 trillion. The republican party being in full control of the government has once again ballooned the national debt with fool hardy spending and big tax breaks for the billionaires. When Trump and republicans took charge of the government in his first term the national debt was only $19 trillion. When Trump and republicans returned to office in January 2025 the debt was $36 trillion mostly caused by republican spending, billionaire tax cuts, and the pandemic. This is a $4 trillion increase in less than two years. MAGA gave America a raw deal with the election of Donald Trump and every other republican. Donald Trump signed another proclamation, which goes against his America First policy. MAGA was so proud of Trump’s America First promise that they could not wait to get Donald Trump and republicans back into power in the government. Once again Trump has proved MAGA voters to be fools, this time he has ordered that some U.S. Navy ships be built overseas. Trump does not care about American jobs or the security of the United States with this move. Another sad day brought to America by MAGA voters.
Trump believes in wasting more money by the Navy
Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth continue to damage the U.S. Navy. Trump signed a proclamation which will require U.S. aircraft carriers to revert to old steam and hydraulic catapults and elevators instead of the current and modern electromagnetic systems. Trump’s low IQ mind seems unable to understand the cost on any of his childish moves. More wastes and less efficiency from Trump, Hegseth, and republicans. Voters get these low IQ people out of government before it is too late. The harm they have done to America in two years may take decades of rule by Democrats to undo.

Donald Trump tells Americans not to complain about $4 per gallon gas. It is necessary to keep Iran from getting a nuclear weapon. Trump in his speech in New York went on to say that $4 per gallon gas is ok. Donald Trump needs to remember that Barack Obama had a good nuclear deal in place with Iran to keep them from going after nuclear weapons. Trump dropped the deal because Obama was a black man. The average price of $4.07 per gallon is the highest ever recorded in August. The continued high price and increased oil company profits are taking deeper and deeper cuts out of Americans income. Treasury Dept makes ruling to encourage financial crimes by the rich
The Treasury Department has made a ruling exempting U.S. companies from reporting beneficial ownership information to the Treasury’s Financial Crime Unit. Treasury has exempted any reporting of persons owning 25% of any company. The ruling reduces the reporting requirements of a 2021 law that was aimed at finding illegal financial transactions. This includes tax evasion and money laundering crimes. Along with the change past information will be deleted. This change in the law will be a big benefit for the rich.
Dept of Injustice new policy to protect Trump
The Department of Injustice has extended Executive Privilege to outside government advisors to Donald Trump. The 21-page opinion by the Department of Injustice allows Trump to block any investigation of his advisors. The ruling appears to be more a move to block people from testifying against Trump should the Democrats win the House and Senate back in the November elections. Trump’s Department of Injustice seems to believe the Democrats will be back in charge and will do what the federal government and Congress should already be doing.

Chevron and ExxonMobil announced their financial data that includes the start of the Iran war and wild oil prices. The two combined made a profit of roughly 26 billion dollars. This profit came right out of the pockets of all middle-class Americans. White voters your poor choice is not only costing non-Trump voters but you yourself. The passage of the Billionaire Tax Cut Budget bill by Donald Trump and the republicans has resulted in a drop of more than 3 million people from Obama Care medical coverage. The drop was forecasted to take place if the Billionaire Tax Cut Budget bill passed, which it did. The change in premiums was about a 57% increase and this amount is something many of the poor, just do not have. When these people go to and emergency room for treatment, the price tags to tax payers will be very high. The Trump administration claims higher cost are not the reason for the drop in insured Americans. They claim the drop was due to fraud being discovered. The administration claim is false. The higher premiums are the reason and the Trump regime lying about it does not help.
Trump likely blackmailed governor to release convicted felon out of jail
When it comes to aiding his convicted felon friends, Donald Trump will sink to any level to get the convicted felons out of jail. The Trump Get Out of Jail free card went to Tina Peters this time. Tina Peters was the Mesa County, Colorado clerk who like Donald Trump was an election denier. Peters went so far as to let an outside group look into and copy voting machine rolls in Mesa County. A clear violation of the state law. With these abuses against the state Peters was convicted on several charges and sentenced to nine years in state prison. This conviction in state court prohibited Donald Trump from given her a presidential pardon. Trump then put pressure on Colorado to free Peters. Trump vetoed Colorado Arkansas Valley Conduit project, which passed congress with bi-partisan support. Colorado republican legislator Lauren Boebert was told the veto was due to Peters still being in jail. Boebert claimed she would work to get the legislation approved by Trump. Trump used tax payer monies to likely blackmail a governor to release a convicted felon who was helping him to deny the results of the 2020 election. This veto by Trump had nothing to do with policy, it was purely a move to help a convicted felon who was on his side. The governor of Colorado folded under the pressure and released Peters. As of today, Peters is out of jail after only serving 24 months of her nine-year sentence and the water project has not been signed into law. Trump voters you gave Trump the power to use taxpayer monies for his own personal vendetta.
Pentagon changes wounded and dead numbers after criticism over understating the facts
The Pentagon under Pete Hegseth and Donald Trump have changed the numbers of injured and killed U.S. military personnel in the Iran war. The Pentagon now states a total of more than 600 personnel that have been injured or killed due to the war. There has been widespread criticism over the numbers the Pentagon had been stating. The Pentagon’s new numbers increased the wounded by 140 and the killed in action by four. Let us hope the Pentagon will be truthful with the American people about wounded or killed military personnel.

The Pentagon under Pete Hegseth has implemented a new policy that troops over the age of 30 will be subject to testosterone testing. Hegseth believes that low testosterone is a problem for the military. Low testosterone Pete must be a doctor along with be foolish sense of being a no it all. This policy will create far more problems that it will ever solve. Pete should be the first one tested and banned from his job if he tests low. What does this new policy mean for female soldiers. What lawyer is helping Pete push these foolish policy ideas. Soldiers that refuse the test, what happens to them. It is ironic that a party that fought so hard to keep soldiers from taking COVID shots has stooped to this level of getting into soldiers’ personal lives. God help America.

Donald Trump continues to rewrite the history of slavery in America. This time it is a slavery exhibit at the President’s House in Philadelphia. The President’s House in Philadelphia was the first executive resident for the American presidents. A federal court allowed Trump to make the change ruling in his favor. The Interior Department runs the President’s House and seeks to downplay slavery as being a bad thing. The new panels will be more positive about America while whitewashing slavery. The original panels were agreed upon by a coalition of groups that deemed it accurate.
Supreme Court rules America is for whites only
The Supreme Court of the Confederate States of America rules that Donald Trump can remove the Temporary Protection Status from 350,000 Haitians and 4,000 Syrians. The Court said, that courts cannot intervene in TPS actions. America is no longer the country that welcomes the oppressed unless they are white. The Haitians and Syrians both came from countries that were in turmoil from natural disasters or wars. Sending them back to these countries will cause many their lives, but the Supreme Court of the Confederate States of America does not care because their skin color is black or brown. Donald Trump has made numerous racist remarks about Haitians but the Supreme Court did not care. They explained that Trump statements were not racist and were not aimed at people of color. Yet white South Africans are being welcomed into the United States under the same TPS policy. What is the main difference between the groups and it is their skin color. The White House celebrated and bragged about sending the pet eaters back to Haiti as soon as possible.
Supreme Court has double standard
The Supreme Court of the Confederate States of America have ruled on a Hawaii law that makes it illegal to bring a gun even with a permit on private property open to the public without the property owner’s permission. The Supreme Court of the Confederate States of America ruled that the Hawaii law is illegal. Gun permit holders cannot be blocked from bringing their guns onsite and having to inform the property owners. This bad ruling will affect four other states with similar laws. It is amazing the Supreme Court will allow all guns on private property but do not try to bring a gun into the Supreme Court building with or without a permit.
Hegseth creates another problem for the military
The United States military is suffering through an outbreak of flu at Lackland Air Force base in Texas. Why is the flu such a big problem at the base. The answer is simple; Pete Hegseth and the Donald Trump are the reasons. In an effort to be totally MAGA, Hegseth and Trump allowed airmen the right to opt out of taking flu shots. 275 airmen are sick or have been sick with the flu, with four of them in the hospital and one dead. The United States does not need MAGA people running or ruining the military. MAGA does not believe in order, honor, and following command orders.

Senators Rand Paul and Bill Cassidy both republicans had voted to rein in Donald Trump’s war with Iran. Both Senators decided to change their votes after Trump can to the Senate and yelled at them. Did Iran write the peace deal
There is not much anyone can say positive about the US / Iran peace deal. The people of Iran were bigger winners, while the US looked like fools. Donald Trump and his negotiators got nearly nothing in return for the deal except opening the Strait of Hormuz. Iran got the Strait reopened and they will also get 300 billion dollars for rebuilding. Donald Trump swears that the US will not be paying the 300 billion dollars. Donald Trump is known for being a liar. Trump sleeps during game three, how is that possible
It does not seem possible, yet it is true. Donald Trump went to game three of the NBA Finals in New York and fell sound asleep. How is this possible in an arena that holds nearly 20,000 cheering fans. It was amazing that when the Knicks made a good play and the crowd erupted even louder, Trump awoke. Trump woke and was clearly lost as to where he was, but he did not hurt himself when he suddenly awoke. The only people ever seem sleeping at a large sporting event are generally toddlers. The Supreme Court has overruled a Federal Court and will allow Alabama to use their new congressional map that eliminates a second majority black district. The Federal Court made clear in its ruling that the new map discriminates against black voters, but again the Supreme Court rules for white southern voters. The new primary election date in Alabama will be August 11, 2026. Sorry black Americans but you have no voting rights according to the Supreme Court of the Confederates States of America.

The January 6 mob members are already waiting to get their share of the 1.8 billion dollar fund that leader Trump is trying to get them. The plaintiffs had argued that the president did not have the authority to change voting rules. The Trump administration contended, it was too early to bring a lawsuit since the EO has not been implemented. The judge agreed with the Trump administration and will allow the EO to move forward

Donald Trump and his Acting Attorney General have created a new tax payer funded (1.8 billion dollars) anti-weaponization fund to benefit his friends and his followers that stormed the capitol on January 6th and injured and killed police officers. NAACP agrees with boycott
The NAACP wants black athletes to boycott major universities in states that have redrawn or plan to redraw their congressional maps to discriminate against minority voters. The actions by these states and their legislatures openly discriminate against voters of color and take America back to the days of Jim Crow. The states targeted by the NAACP are Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas. The program is called “Out of Bounds” and it requests minority athletes withhold their commitment to public universities in these states and to black Americans to withhold financial backing of the universities. These states are making billions of dollars off black athletes, but refuse to give them a voice in governing.

Virginia unable to use new congressional in 2026 election
Virginia will be unable to use their new congressional map in this year’s election despite the voters of Virginia voting to use the new map. The four republican judges on the Virginia Supreme Court voted no. The three Democratic judges on the court voted yes. The 4 to 3 decisions caused the maps to be ruled illegal. The United States Supreme Court ruled the map was illegal but gave no written opinion. The governor of Virginia also confirmed it was too late in the voting process to use the new map without great logistics problems. The courts have once again ruled in favor of republicans over Americans. Although the courts have no problem with republicans states changing their maps even with voting already started. Once again, the courts seem more concerned with helping republicans than following the Constitution.
Virginia voters say Yes and Virginia Supreme Court says No
The Virginia Supreme Court has ruled that the vote passed by Virginia voters last month is unconstitutional. The court ruled 4 to 3 that the action was unconstitutional. They majority opinion stated that the way the amendment was put on the ballot did not follow proper procedure. If this is true why did the Virginia Supreme Court even let the vote take place. Once again, the judicial system looks to be helping the republican party. Democrats plan to appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court. It is unlikely the U.S. Supreme Court will take up the case. If they take the case, they would have to rule in favor of Virginia due to their recent ruling in favor of Louisiana. Minority and young voters you are seeing firsthand what your grandparents had to endure during the fifties. Jim Crow is back and the head crow is the republican party.
Stench continues to rise from the Robert's Supreme Court
The United States Supreme Court has finalized its opinion in the Louisiana gerrymandering case, that struck down the second majority black district. The Court will allow Louisiana to use it’s soon to be drawn up map eliminating the second majority black district. This opinion by the Supreme Court runs contrary to past Supreme Court opinions that ruling should not effect voting in the near future. Louisiana had already started primary voting, but the Supreme Court said it no longer matters when the next election takes place. The only reason the Supreme Court violated its own policy seems to be for political purposes only. The Court seems to have little regard for minority voters and more regard for the republican party and white plaintiffs. The Robert’s Court is a disgrace to the law that it is suppose to uphold. Young people and minorities in the United States are now subject to the rule of one man. That man is king Donald Trump thanks to the Supreme Court and the republican legislature.
Alabama and Tennessee call special sessions of legislatures to discriminate against minority voters
Thanks to the United States Supreme Court under John Roberts and the conservative members ruling that there is no discrimination in America when it comes to voting. The States of Tennessee and Alabama are calling for special sessions of their legislature to change their voting maps to discriminate against minority voters. Young people in Alabama and Tennessee you have returned the Jim Crowe days of the south. You must register to vote and then vote for Democrats to save America from the republicans.

The United States is about to celebrate it’s 250th birthday. Thanks to John Roberts and his United States Supreme Court, the country will no longer celebrate its greatness to all citizens. Roberts and the other conservative members of the court have ruled that minority Americans can be discriminated against when it comes to voting. What a disgraceful ruling. The only Americans to benefit from this ruling are white Americans in the South and other red states across America. They will once again discriminate against their minority citizens when it comes to voting in red states. All young people black, white, and brown you must register to vote and remove this stain from America. Vote out all republicans.
United States Supreme Court votes to return to the 1950's
The United States Supreme Court in a 6 to 3 decision has overturned the Louisiana law that allowed for a second black majority district. The 6 conservative justices voted to overturn the map. Their vote has put the United States back into the 1950’s where it was legal to discriminate against black Americans. The voting rights act was put in place to ensure Southern States could no longer discriminate against black Americans when it came to voting. This ruling by the United States Supreme Court is the death nail for the Voting Rights Act. This ruling does not just affect Louisiana but every state. Republicans will be rushing to redraw their voting maps to eliminate black and Latino districts. Today’s ruling harms minority voters in America but gives total control of America to its white majority. America going forward will no longer be a country that values all people. It will now officially be a nation that honors only white men.
Virginia Supreme Court allows lower court ruling to stand
The Virginia Supreme Court has denied a request to certified the results of last week’s redistricting amendment to the Virginia Constitution. The ruling lets stand a lower court ruling that the process was not constitutional. The Virginia Supreme Court will rule later to certify or not certify the election results. The court did not set a date for the ruling.
Yes to redraw districts maps approved but
The voters of Virginia approved the Constitutional Amendment to allow Virginia to redraw district maps mid-decade rather than wait until the next census in 2030. The voters of Virginia were fighting back against republicans in Texas, Missouri, Florida, and North Carolina who have already redrawn their congressional maps to favor republicans. The excitement has been tempered as Tazewell County Circuit Court Judge Jack Hurley has again stepped in to block the measure. Hurley who had earlier blocked the voter measure but was overruled by the State Supreme Court who allowed the measure to be taken before the voters. Hurley who was appointed by a republican seems to be ruling politically rather than following the law. Why did Hurley jump into the matter again when it was already before the State Supreme Court? Virginia Attorney General Jay Jones has vowed to appeal the decision by Hurley. The people want the republicans out, but the republicans refuse to go and will stoop to any means to hold on to power.
Vote Yes In Virginia Day
Today is Vote Yes Day in Virginia. Virginians will go to the polls to determine if Virginia like republicans’ states can redraw their Congressional district lines to keep republicans in power in Washington. Texas, North Carolina, Missouri, and Florida have already changed their maps to remove democratic seats in a mid-decade redistricting. Now Virginia wants to level the playing field by redrawing Congressional maps to eliminate republican districts in Virginia. The republicans have spent millions to stop Virginia from changing the maps. These are the same republicans who had no issue when Texas, North Carolina, Missouri, and Florida changed their maps to benefit republicans and Donald Trump. The republicans have ran ads to bring out all of the boogie men for republican voters. They are ads that illegal immigrants are receiving welfare benefits, illegal immigrants are attacking white Americans, republicans will have their guns taken away. All Virginians need to understand that a No vote will take away your right to an America that values each citizen. Go vote Yes if you have not already done so. Save democracy with a Yes vote.
Due to the war or special operation in Iran, the United States Postal service will increase package rates by 8%. The increase is necessary due to the rapid rise in fuel costs. The fuel costs are not only hurting USPS but rural Americans, especially those who drive more and further for their daily activities. The American economy already suffering with inflation will now be forced to absorb more higher costs due to the huge jump in energy costs. What is the problem with republican legislators? They seem to be immune from higher costs that their voters have to endure. It is time for republican voters to heal their republican legislators of the not caring about their voter, it is time to vote them all out. The republican voters put so much effort into getting their legislators into office and then to be ignored and America harmed.
Donald Trump is bribing a French Wind Energy company to walk away from legal lease agreements with the United States for off shore wind energy. Trump has offered Total Energies of France $1 billion to walk away from their leases of two proposed wind projects. One is off the coast of North Carolina, while the other is off the coast of New York. Total Energies has accepted the bribe and will instead focus on fossil fuels. Trump’s bribe seems to bypass a judge’s order allowing offshore wind projects.
Two of Elon Musk’s DOGE employees (Justin Fox and Nate Cavanaugh) testified that they cut grants and funding based on computer search words that were DEI, DEIA, Equity, Inclusion, BIPAC, and LGBTQ. They said, they were out to cut wasteful government spending, but only searched out spending related to their search words. Their actions were clearly aimed at hurting minorities and minority groups. The two had no concerns about how their practice hurt workers. The two also admitted that DOGE did not save any money. The Reverend Jesse L. Jackson has passed away. The Civil Rights movement has lost a mighty voice with this great man’s passing. Jackson spent most of his life actively fighting for Civil Rights. He was a driven man who pushed the limits of what was expected of black men by white society. He twice ran for president of the United States and was the leader of the Rainbow Coalition. He was active in the Southern Christian Leadership Conference and was present when Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated. On a personal level, my interactions with Rev. Jackson was with a friend who never met a stranger and encouraged everyone to feel better about themselves. One of Rev. Elon Musk has once again put his money behind the republican party. Records show that Musk has already given $20 million to help republicans in the 2026 election cycle. Musk profited well behind his over $100 million donations during the 2024 elections cycle. This money allowed Musk to take a chainsaw to the nation’s government agencies. All of Musk’s great promises of tax savings to the government never panned out. Most agree that Musk and his DOGE group had no savings but cost the American government more money after their feeble attempt of saving money. This does not include the data that was taken on Americans from protected databases and files.

No issues are known currently or in the past. A college student at a town hall meeting held by Wyoming republican Rep. Harriet Hageman was asked why she had not condemned the ICE violence in Minnesota. Another member of the audience wanted to know why the unconstitutional acts by ICE have not been addressed. The main point was ICE breaking into homes with an administrative warrant and not a judicial warrant. ICE had written an internal memo giving the go ahead for the home invasions. The invasions are totally illegal, but Hageman like most republican congress people just look the other way. The Constitution be damned; Trump leads America and checks and balances no longer apply. Hageman then left her own town hall with boos raining down rather than answering the questions. Hageman now wants to be the senator from Wyoming as she is running for the open 2026 seat. American tax payers are continuing to be the piggy bank for Donald Trump’s personal vendetta against blue cities and states. It has been reported by the Congressional Budget Office that the deployment of national guard troops to blue cities have cost the American Tax Payers $495 million in 2025. Another gigantic waste of tax payer money to satisfy the child like Trump.
Representative Ilhan Omar, a black, democratic congresswoman of Minnesota was attacked and sprayed with an unknown substance by a Trump supporter. The man identified as Anthony Kaziemczak rushed Omar while screaming and spray her with the liquid from a spray bottle. Kazmieczak was described by neighbors as a very conservative person and did not like Omar. He asked a neighbor to watch his dog while he went to the town hall and he expected to be arrested. Donald Trump as usual did not care about the attack and continued his disparaging comments about Omar. Donald Trump is a sick minded individual who does not have the mental capacity to be president of the United States.

It was revealed that a group that wanted to overturn the 2020 election results were given social security data. Other social security data was used to try and match voter rolls in certain states. The Social Security Administration was unsure what DOGE did with the information. They did not want to respond to questions about the data access and any dispersing of the data.

This time on a 7 – 2 ruling the court said, candidates are allowed to challenge ballots received by mail after the election date. It does not matter if the ballots were postmarked prior to the election. This ruling helps Donald Trump and his effort to make mail in ballots null and void. Trump continues his winning streak at the Supreme Court. The conservative justices seem more concerned with Trump taking over the government than following the law.
California and governor Gavin Newsom win again in court. This time a federal three judge panel ruled the new California Congressional Maps are legal and can be used in the 2026 elections. California requested the map changed after Donald Trump and his pal Greg Abbott of Texas agreed to change Texas’ maps to favor republicans in the upcoming 2026 elections. Trump and Abbott believed Democrats would do nothing to offset the republican cheating. This time they were wrong, thank you again governor Newsom for fighting to save America from republicans.
Senate republicans voted to allow Donald Trump to continue with unlimited authority to conduct operations against Venezuela. A bipartisan war resolution was up for a vote that would have limited Trump’s ability to wage wars. Had the bipartisan resolution passed it would likely have been defeated in the U.S. House. Five republicans had initially said, they would vote to pass the resolution. The resolution failed after Josh Hawley of Missouri and Todd Young of Indiana changed their votes to no after Trump pressured them to not vote for the resolution. Once again, the republicans folded to Trump’s pressure and gave him a free pass to do whatever he wants to do. The United States senate has agreed to return a plaque honoring capital law enforcement for their bravery on January 6, 2021 to the capital. House Speaker, republican Mike Johnson had the plaque removed, because he said it was illegal to display. Johnson continues to help Donald Trump’s attempts to call the riot a peaceful event.
Renee Nicole Good, 37-year-old white mother of three was shot and killed by Donald Trump’s ICE agents in Minneapolis, MN. Good was parked sideways on a street when ICE agents descended on her SUV. Good then drove off and was leaving the scene when she was shot and killed. No ICE officers were in danger at the time of the shooting. The reason for Good being parked sideways is unknown but she was new to the city. The ICE agents who did the shooting did not wear body cameras. The Trump administration called Good a domestic terrorist, while many other see her as a victim of over zealous ICE agents. Young people of America, this is why you do not want federal agents roaming the streets of our cities. Local policing should be performed by local authorities not mobs of federal agents. The republicans have destroyed health care for millions of Americans with the loss of Affordable Care Act subsidies. The republican’s primary goals of the Billionaire Tax Cut Budget was to give huge tax breaks to the super rich and cut health care insurance for the middle class and poor Americans. They were successful on both of their goals. Obamacare insured Americans rates have increased many folds and more Americans will be without health insurance. The loss of health care by so many Americans will put a huge strain on our health care system as more and more people will be showing up for medical care but will not have insurance to pay for the care. This change will drive up insurance rates for all Americans not just the sick and the poor. Some blue states will pickup the lack of federal funding, but republican led states will not pay for the loss of federal monies. This will result in republican led state citizens getting sicker and dying.
The Department of Veterans Affairs is putting back in place a near total ban on abortions for female veterans and female family members of all veterans. The Department of Veterans Affairs stated the change was due to a memo from the Justice Department’s Office of Legal Counsel. The memo stated that the Veterans Department can not legally provide abortion services. The reinstated rule does not allow abortions for rape or incest as it did in the past. The reinstated rule does allow for an abortion in the event the mother’s life is endangered by the fetus. A federal three judge panel will allow Donald Trump and republicans to fire two Democrats from two federal boards. The firings had been in limbo since a lower court had stopped Trump from firing the board members. the U.S. Supreme Court in another show of political love for Donald Trump had temporarily blocked the lower court ruling. The firings were illegal under the law governing such boards. The members are appointed by the President but, can only be replaced if there is cause. As usual with Trump there was no cause for the removal other than the board members being Democrats.
Democrats in the Senate are pushing for a vote next week to continue the subsides for Obama Care / Affordable Care Act. The agreed vote was a promise from republicans to reopen the government. The measure to extend the subsidies will fail as republicans are still against wanting to contain insurance costs for the average American. With a no vote to extend the subsidies, republicans are following through on their cuts under the Billionaire Tax Cut Budget Bill, which they passed earlier this year. The republicans lack of caring for the average American will kill large numbers of Americans, who will no longer be able to afford health insurance.
Donald Trump has given clemency to David Gentile a private equity executive convicted of defrauding thousands of victims in a $1.6 billion scheme. Gentile and his partner Jeffry Schneider were convicted in 2024 and sentenced to seven years and six years in prison. At this time only Gentile received clemency and Jeffry Schneider remains in prison. Why the different treatment by Trump of these to felons. Donald Trump has signed the bill to release the Epstein files. After months of fighting to get the files released the day is coming. After signing the bill into law, the Department of Justice now has 30 days to release the files to the public. The Justice Department can withhold files that are related to an active criminal investigation or are deemed to invade personal privacy. Let us hope that the Donald Trump Department of Justice does not selectively withhold files that should be released. The United States House of Representatives passed the bill to force the Department of Justice to release the Epstein files to the public. The vote was 427 yes and 1 no vote. The bill now goes to Donald Trump to be signed into law. Trump has said, he would now sign it. Mike Johnson, republican House Speaker, finally swears in Democratic elected Representative Adelita Grijalva of Arizona after 53 days. Grijalva was elected on September 23, in a special election in Arizona that she won handily over her republican opponent. Mike Johnson said, the reason for the delay was the government shutdown. The real reason appears to be that Grijalva had promised to be the final signature needed to approve a vote on a discharge petition to release the Epstein files. The files may contain information on Donald Trump and his relationship with Epstein. Epstein was convicted of trafficking under age girls to rich men.

The Senators were John Fetterman, Catherine Cortez-Masto, Angus King, Dick Durbin, Maggie Hassan, Tim Kaine, Jackie Rosen, and Jeanne Shaheen. These Senators held their noses and voted with the republicans to reopen the government; however, unlike the republicans, they care about poor people in America. The republicans were happy to let SNAP benefits expire and let poor Americans and children go hungry. It is difficult to negotiate with people who enjoy inflicting pain on lower income Americans and children. The republican Senators did give a handshake deal to debate the Affordable Care Act later. Young people the republicans are not trust worthy and have not followed through on deals that are required by law and contracts, good luck on a handshake from republicans. If they do debate the Affordable Care Act, the republicans have no intentions of passing anything. They voted in the Billionaire Tax Cut Budget Bill not to fund it and let millions of Americans die and force higher insurance rates on working Americans. What was in the negotiated bill to reopen the government; fund the government fully through January 30th, fund SNAP and Veterans benefits through September of 2026, reverse the firing and layoffs of federal workers, federal workers will get their back pay as required by law. There was no deal to extend the Affordable Care Act subsidies. Young people you are about to see the harm that voting for republicans will do to you and other Americans.
Democrats in Virginia had a sweep of all the statewide offices on the ballot. They also increased their numbers in the Virginia House. The Democrats had a great night in Virginia and nationally. In the governor’s race Abigail Spanberger won her seat with 57% of the vote and a 500,000-vote margin. Ghazala Hashmi became the first muslin woman to win a statewide race in Virginia. She was elected Lt. Governor with 55% of the vote and a 400,000-vote margin. Jay Jones who was marred in controversy the past months was able to pull out a victory in the race for Attorney General. Jones won with 52% of the vote and a 200,000-vote margin. In the Virginia House, the Democrats were able to increase their majority by 13 seats. They now have 64 seats to the republicans 36. It was a great night in Virginia for the Democratic party and the young people of Virginia. The Democratic candidates drew a great amount of support from the young people of Virginia. The Democrats won among young white males. This was the group that had gone overwhelmingly for Donald Trump in 2024. The young white males are now seeing that Donald Trump and the republican party lied to them and did not have their best interest at heart, once they were in office. Young people of Virginia, keep up the good work and be ready for the November 2026 elections.
The governor’s race in New Jersey ended up being a blowout win for Democrat Mikie Sherrill. The polls had indicated, the race would be razor thin, but the polls were wrong. Mikie Sherrill defeated her republican opponent by 13 percentage points and by over 400,000 votes. The polls seemed to be wishful thinking by Fox News and Donald Trump. Young people turned out in great numbers for Sherrill and other voters that seemed to be tired of Donald Trump and the republican party with their high prices, lies, government shutdowns, and broken promises. New Jersey’s future continues to be bright with continued Democratic leadership. Young people of New Jersey, the country needs your help in getting rid of the republicans in Washington in 2026.
The republican party’s worst nightmare took place on Tuesday in New York City’s mayor’s race. Zohran Mamdani, the 34-year-old, Democratic Socialist, and Muslim was elected mayor of New York City. Fox News, Donald Trump, and the republican party tried in vain to label Mamdani as dangerous. They sent daily threats of him being against Israel, bad for business, and an America hating Muslim. All the fear mongering did not work. Mamdani put together a coalition that wants change in New York City. Mamdani ran on making New York more affordable for the average New Yorker. Zohran Mamdani is what the young people of America are looking for to protect the future. Mamdani like most young people knows that politics is the best way to bring about change in America. Other young people can use Mamdani as an example of what a young person with drive can achieve. Young people be bold, your day has arrived. You must take your leadership role in America.
The United States national debt has now surpassed 38 trillion dollars. This is an increase of 1 trillion dollars in less than two months. Only during the pandemic did the debt rise faster. The republicans always ran on reducing the debt, but each time in office they let the national debt explode. The republicans cannot be trusted to lead America. Remember the big promises of DOGE to cut 2 trillion dollars from the debt. It looks more like a scheme to steal Americans personal data than cutting costs. This time it was Paul Ingrassia who was nominated to lead the Office of Special Counsel. Ingrassia said, the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday should be “tossed into the seventh circle of hell”. He also claimed to having a “Nazi streak” at times. Young people look at the republican party and think do you want to be like them or have them leading America. The No Kings Day protests on Saturday were a huge success across the country. It is estimated that more than 7 million Americans participated in the protests. They were urban and rural Americans of all ages and races. They proved that America needs a real president and not a king. Young people that turned out, God bless you. Remember to vote Democratic at your next election opportunity. This is especially true in the upcoming New Jersey and Virginia statewide elections. Do not sit home, support your future by voting for the Democratic candidates in both elections. US District Judge Susan Illston has temporarily blocked the Trump regime from firing federal workers during the government shutdown. Illston had harsh but true words for the Trump regime. She said, the cuts appeared to be politically motivated and were being carried out without much thought. “It’s very much ready, fire, aim on most of these programs, and it has a human cost,” she said. "It’s a human cost that cannot be tolerated.” Federal judges have been upholding the constitution, but the Supreme Court of the United States have overruled the federal judges and allowed the Trump regime to carry out many illegal acts. The protests are expected to take place in more than 2500 cities and locations across America. The protestors must stay non-violent as the Trump Regime is looking for any excuse to declare Marshall Law. Protestors stay non-violent even when Trump Regime thugs try to push you into violence. Young people attend a protest and then vote Democratic.
Donald Trump has commuted the seven-year sentence of former republican congressman George Santos. Santos reported to prison in July to serve his seven years, but only served less than 90 days thanks to lawless Donald Trump. Trump has again thumbed his nose at the law to bail out his convicted republican friends. Donald Trump loves and rewards his crooked republican loyalist. Why do the men and women in blue support this lawless crime boss?
The continuing resolution to avoid a government shutdown did not pass in the Senate. Republicans made no effort to gain democratic support for the bill. The Democrats wanted republicans to make concessions extending Obamacare subsidies and reversing Medicaid cuts. The republicans would not move on any of the health care concerns of Democrats. Donald Trump has promised cuts to programs that Democrats favor. Trump has also promised mass firings of workers. Donald Trump and the republicans do not consider Democrats to be Americans or Americans that need the assistance on health care to be Americans. This shutdown will have long term negative impacts on America just as the republicans had planned. Young people you are going to see an America that no longer serves the people of America. The billionaires and republicans have gotten their way. We cannot leave out the efforts of the Supreme Court to help Donald Trump and ignore the Constitution.
Mike Johnson and House republicans refuse to swear in Arizona’s newly elected representative Adelita Grijalva. Morgan Griffith, republican of Virginia was overseeing a proforma session of the House, but refused to swear in Grijalva. Johnson and Griffith said, Grijalva would be sworn in when the House returns on October 7, 2025. Johnson and Griffith are both hypocrites for not swearing in Grijalva during a proforma session, when they swore two republicans in an April 2025 session. It looks like all republicans who claim Jesus do so when only convenient. Young people do not follow the lead of Mike Johnson and Morgan Griffith. You need to keep your self-respect.
The United States House of Representatives is getting a new Democratic member. Adelita Grijalva has won the Arizona special election to succeed her father Raul Grijalva , who passed away while serving in Congress. Grijalva won with 70% of the vote. This margin of victory is larger than the numbers posted by Kamala Harris in November. One of the main promises from Grijalva was to vote to have the Epstein files released. Currently in the House, the measure to release the file is one vote short. With Grijalva’s vote Mike Johnson will have to release the files. We can be sure Johnson and the Trump loving republicans will pull some stunt to block the vote. They are blocking the vote to protect Donald Trump.

The new rules allow republicans to move multiple Trump nominees with a simple majority vote. Democrats when in charge of the Senate did not change the rules when it would have helped them. The likelihood of a federal government shutdown is increasing as Donald Trump has told House republicans not to let Democrats provide any input into the process. Trump wants a republican only bill. This process can work in the House of Representatives but not in the Senate. The bill would need 60 votes in the Senate but the republicans hold 53 seats. This means seven democratic Senators would have to vote with republicans to pass a republican only bill. Young people republicans are anti-democracy; you must vote for Democrats if you want a democracy form of government.
2025 jobs report showed only 22,000 jobs were added to the economy. This number is far less than what had been anticipated. Adding to the pitiful job numbers was the unemployment rate rose to 4.3%. The Supreme Court continues to help Donald Trump destroy democracy in America. They have given their approval for Trump to continue aggressive immigration arrests in Los Angeles after a lower court ruling had stopped the actions. The lower court found clear evidence that racial profiling was behind many of the arrests and not illegal acts by the immigrants. The Supreme Court shadow docket is proving to be a way for the republican party and Donald Trump to continue to move to a nation of total rule by one person and one party. Historically Black Colleges and Universities have been receiving threatening calls. The institutions receiving the threats are Alabama State University, Virginia State University, Hampton University Southern University and Clark Atlanta University. Several other HBUC’s have gone into shelter in place procedures due to the threats. The threats are thought to be the result of the Charlie Kirk assassination. Kirk was a republican personality who help to recruit young people to the republican party. Missouri republican Senator Eric Schmitt gives his “What is an American” speech. According to Schmitt the only real Americans are the ones with white European ancestors. Immigrants with other than white skin are not Americans. Schmitt did not mention where African Americans fit in his “What is an American Speech. Schmitt’s speech claims the only good things in America came from white hands and minds. African American accomplishments are not counted, since they are not white. Whites should rule America. Young white women need to heed this warning from Schmitt. Although not stated, women are seen as baby factories and nothing more by republicans. The Social Security Administration confirmed that DOG ELON had copied over 300,000,000 files with very personal information about Americans. They placed the copied information on a private cloud that lacks adequate security per a whistleblower complaint. This confirmation by the Social Security Administration runs opposite from the information I was provided in a letter by my republican Congressman. He stated that DOG ELON had not copied or removed any data from the system. The act of copying the data is illegal, but the Trump Regime rightly believes they are above the law. The Trump ICE office has announced changes to add to the ICE workforce. The age limit has been lowered to under 21 and there will be no maximum age limit. ICE to help recruiting will also give a signing bonus of up to $50,000, student loan repayment assistance, and other benefits. Mississippi health officials have declared a public health emergency after a rise in the state’s infant mortality rate. The rate is 9.7 deaths per 1000 births. The national average is 5.6 deaths per 1000 births. African American babies are two times more likely to die than white babies. Many of the MAGA republican lead states have the highest rates. Mississippi (9.7), Arkansas (8.59), Alabama (7.56), South Carolina (7.26), and Louisiana at (7.24). Voters in these states should realize that voting MAGA republican is killing your babies above the national average. The United States Supreme Court has once again given Donald Trump the right to do whatever he deems he wants to do as President. This time they have allowed Trump and the republicans to cancel numerous public health grants based on an unclear DEI policy. The cancelled grants were for suicide risk prevention, HIV transmission, Alzheimer’s disease, cardiovascular disease, and other diseases. The ruling was totally a gift to Trump as it made zero legal sense. Groups now need to go to another federal court and refile the complaint and then let it work its way back through the system. The time needed to refile would take so long that it would be impossible to get any action. This is troubling in that any legal issue with the federal government will now be almost impossible to settle, even if wrong doing were found. A federal court had already ruled that Trump’s actions were clearly aimed at women and minorities and had no medical reason for cancelling the grants. Donald Trump promises to take harsh measures against Colorado, if one of his criminal allies is not released from jail in Colorado. Convicted felon, Tina Peters, is an election denier and former election official in Mesa County, CO. She was convicted on seven felony counts for helping her election deniers’ allies gain access to Mesa County voting machines. Peters is now serving a nine- year prison term.
Red states lead the list of states in financial distress. The residents of these states are having to defer credit payments to pay for everyday essentials. Rather than address the climate change problem, republicans are leaving rural Americans to die and suffer. The ruling gives the Trump regime the right to continue to possibly change Birthright Citizenship. Birthright Citizenship was granted under the Constitution but the Trump regime wants to decide who can become a citizen. If someone is born in the United States and their parents are not United States legal citizens, they will no longer be automatically declared a citizen. The Supreme Court has ruled that South Carolina can block Planned Parenthood from receiving Medicaid money for health services. Medicaid recipients in South Carolina can no longer choose Planned Parenthood to provide their medical care. This ruling will hurt the poor, women, and children because Planned Parenthood serves rural and low-income urban areas. Planned Parenthood has been under attack from republicans for decades due to its support of women’s rights. This decision by the Supreme Court has given the MAGA conservative movement another victory at the expense of young women, children, and the poor. Any state lead by republicans will pass similar laws banning Medicaid funds to Planned Parenthood and hurt the low-income people of their states. The United States Supreme Court allows the Trump Regime to send migrants to countries other than their own. The court overturned a lower court ruling stating that migrants had the right to legally challenge third party country deportations. Minnesota Democratic State Representative Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark have been assassinated by a conservative political appointee dressed as a policeman. Any other president would be impeached for taking this bribe, but Trump is Trump and republican legislators keep looking the other way. The group was using the Signal App, which is not a secure app and can be hacked. The National Security Council, said the text chain appears authentic. All involved in this shameful act must be fired immediately. There is no excuse for this lack of professionalism as it could have put American pilots in danger. Donald Trump, DOG ELON, and Lee Dudex, acting Social Security Administrator, stated they would halt Social Security payment checks. This cruel action would be in response to a federal judge ordering the Social Security Administration to stop DOG ELON from taking personal data of Americans receiving Social Security. The judge’s ruling also required DOG ELON to delete personal data already taken. Donald Trump’s Commerce Secretary, Howard Lutnick, said, Americans would be ok with not getting their social security checks for a month. It is clear from their threats that Donald Trump and DOG ELON will cut Social Security or do more harm than they have already put in place. It was later stated by the Trump Administration that they were not serious about not sending out checks. Trump and DOG ELON are now going after Social Security. They plan to close field offices, remove toll free help lines, and require new applicants to apply online or go to a field office to sign up. Anyone on Social Security that cannot use a computer will have to travel untold hours to find a Social Security office that has not been closed. This change is on top of the already announced cut of 7000 jobs at Social Security by DOG ELON. Seniors are now going to feel the first pains from Donald Trump as Social Security comes under attack to pay for tax cuts for billionaires. Donald Trump and DOG ELON have plans in place to cut the Department of Veterans Affairs by 80,000 employees. Trump and DOG ELON claim the reduction will have no effect on services. The DoVA is already short staffed and these cuts will result in unnecessary suffering for our veterans. They deserve better from Trump, the draft dodger. Republicans win the day as 10 Democrats vote with them to pass a short-term spending bill to fund the government to the end of September 2025. The bill was crafted 100% by republicans. The bill cuts 13 billion dollars in domestic spending. Washington D.C. will lose one billion dollars in funding, which will cause massive cuts in city services. The IRS will be cut by 20 billion dollars in their enforcement division. Washington D.C. to paint over Black Lives Matter mural after the city was threatened by Donald Trump and Congressional republicans. Rep. Andrew Clyde of Georgia’s 9th district sponsored HR 1774, which would withhold millions of dollars in transportation funding, if the city did not remove the mural and change the name of the Black Lives Matter Plaza. This action continues republicans’ efforts to remove anything that brings pride or benefit to African Americans. All the Democrats and one republican voted against the resolution
